As many of you are aware, on July 12, 2008, our family experienced violations of our civil rights at a Scientology protest in Hollywood, CA.

The family continues to evaluate whether they can return to a public protest with a reasonable expectation of safety.

The family has prepared the following official statement which we hope that you will review and take to heart, in relation to today's August 16 protest in Hollywood.
